DAVAO CITY, Philippines – More than 100 families in a remote district here have benefited to the solar home systems given to them through a partnership of the Department of Energy (DoE) and a foreign donor agency in a bid to bring light to remote and off-grid villages in the country.DoE and the United States for International Development (USAID) turned over solar home systems to 100 families recently, benefiting at least 600 constituents of Barangays Banto and Magsaysay in Marilog District, this city.
